I'm 40 years old. I was born and raised in Chicago, IL. I currently live in Deltona FL. I have a 5 year old son named Jude. I had been large my whole life (medically, morbidly obese). I had been on every fad diet, regular diet, medication, nothing would work. I was always active but could not lose the weight. After I had my son my weight was at a all time high and now I had to worry about staying alive for my family. I had though about gastric bypass for many years because of friends and family who have had it done. I knew this was my time. In my eyes I finally had a reason to live a long and healthy life. June 29, 2010 was my start date that is changing everything, even though I said the same thing when I had my son...and my life has changed for the better. Every day is an adventure. Time for Change.
