9 days post-op & I got an ice cream maker!!

Apr 25, 2009

So i didnt realize that ice cream makers needed rock salt, so another trip to get that... and granted i should have made a larger batch, but i didnt know if i would like it or anything, so i just made a little - turned out pretty damn good!! (then i made a 2nd batch) Even my 6 year old liked it, so not so bad at all!

Here is the recipe I used (from Eggface's website- noted below)

Chocolate peanut butter ice cream
2 scoops chocolate protein powder (or 1 sample packet)
1 cup milk or soy milk
1 Tbs melted creamy peanut butter
1-2 Tbs sugar free chocolate syrup (found in health food/organic secion of grocery store)

Dump into ice cream maker & follow instructions according to machine.

Can take some reeses's sugar free peanut butter cups and crush/chop them and add them into the mix when done. (i didnt need to add this) Put in container to freeze for harder ice cream, or eat as is for soft serve texture!

So I weighed myself a few days ago, and i was down 12 lbs. awesome! I wanted to check again today.. im so sick of not being able to chew things.. needed to see if the scale could make me feel better about driniking all of my foods right now... and today, (9 days post-op) i am down 19 lbs!!   sweeeet!

Anyone ever chew some "normal food" and then spit it out--- just to have the feeling of chewing?? LOL. I's seriously crossed my mind.
