Facing the facts while embracing the truth

I was asked by one of my bariatric partners if I had taken my before pics. My response was I have enough pics at my current weight why in the world would I take more? But today I had to face the facts of 268 lbs on my 5' 9" frame while taking my before pics. It was a real awakening and reminder of why I made the decision to go through the process to have the surgery. Honestly, almost nothing would be worst than staying where I am right now. I have also come to the realization of the truth which is "choice" I choose to do something about my weight and gain control back of my life. I am about two weeks out or so from surgery and I am so grateful for the opportunity to live life again without limitations.
