I have been dealing with weight issues since I was about 9. My mother had a very obese mother, so she was always hounding me that I was fat, when I wasn't.

As a teenager, having moved in with my father and stepmom, I still struggled with weight, even though they were both very supportive of my endeavors (including some diets that ended poorly).

As an adult, I had reach a good weight and started to be happy when I had a car accident that began a decent into weight gain. They think my pituitary gland was damaged in the head trauma I received, which eventually corrected itself, but only after I gained over 225lbs in 18 months. Talk about depressing.

I did meet and marry the love of my life, who has helped me with all of my weight battles.

After countless attempts and fails at so many programs, my doctor and I decided gastric bypass would be the next, and final, step.

I have no health problems, other than obesity, and I kind of want to keep it there.

I am just past the halfway mark to my goal.
I haven’t felt this good in 14 years, and I know it’s going to get even better!
