Scared

Aug 17, 2008

I've been on medical leave from work for over a month now and am going crazy but still feel icky.

Dr Blackwell my cardio specialist was suppose to be back from holidays on Friday and I haven't heard from my GP yet (surprise!) so I'll call tomorrow, also need to call Dr Menegetti's office again about a appointment for OCC.

I'm a bit nervous though (ok ALOT) about my tachycardia and how that will affect my chance of surgery, and about reading more about Colleen's death. To top it all off, I've read that OCC is for people with 50+ BMI??? I'm not sure if that info is correct or not though.

I weighted myself last week and Im now 251, the heaviest I've ever been in my life!!! I feel so gross, yet I look at my picture and feel guilty since I'm a lightweight.

A little good news though, I did my BP today and it's normal for the first time in weeks, guess the double dose of medication they have me on is finally doing it's job.

Well off to bed, hopefully I won't feel so drugged out tomorrow and headachy. (doc is weaning me off of 300mgs of Effexor to Remron) I've been taking 150 of Effexor and the Remron, but tonite I'm stopping the Effexor!

It's still so muggy and thick...hot although it's rained a couple of times today.

Well off to bed I go...
