Taking a first step

Well today I have started to make some phone calls after spending all day researching different doctors and surgery choices. I defiantly feel that a Lap Band will work best for me, the only hard part is coming up with the 13- 21K it costs without insurance. I may have found the doctor though. I am looking into Dr. Bovard, after calling his office and speaking to his wife (the office RN) I was very impressed with how nice she was, answering all my questions and making me feel that it is possible to pay for the surgery (and they have a deal for 40% off with a hospital they work with). Hopefully tomorrow I can speak with my family and I can work something out, at least to make an initial appointment. Well hears to all the new friends I have met through OH today and the journey to all our success!!
