9 weeks out

May 07, 2010

I can't believe that it's been 9 weeks since my surgery. For the most part, I'm doing really well. I have noticed lately that I seem to be a little hungry. Somthing that I haven't felt up until now. So, just as the Dr said in the beginning, the sleeve is only a tool. The rest of it is all on me....will power. Something that I struggle with. So, each day is a challenge. But, I feel really good about the 40 pounds that I've lost. I've got another 30 to go to reach my Dr's goal.
I thought I would post a typical day of eating for me.
Breakfast - EAS carb control Chocolate Fudge protein shake 15g Protein
1 egg and cheese omelette
Snack - hand full of Natural almonds or a cheese stick
Lunch - Cottage cheese or a couple of slices of ham and a slice of cheese with a little mustard
Snack - EAS protein shake or protein ice cream or jello pudding cup
Dinner - Grouper, snapper, shrimp, chicken breast, and a tiny bit of veggies
At least 64 ou of liquid
