Finally getting around to filling in my personal info.

 "Proud Feminist, Atheist, LGBT friend, and Socialist Liberal" Pretty much describes me (and my entire family) to a tee. I am active politically and a Progressive. 

In my 20s I was an athlete and had to drink milk shakes to keep weight on.  It took decades of incremental weight gain  and a big accident to bring me to 315 lbs plus with diabetes and High Blood Pressure.  Thanks to the ACA, BCBSNJ (my insurance company of 40 years), finally had to cover my bariatric surgery.  Dr. Douglas Ewing performed the surgery 9/16/2014 and I have lost 70 pounds so far and (like so many others here) have begun to reclaim my life and health.

I make my living working with Dogs.  I own a Doggie Day Care and I specialize in small dog socialization and behavior modification. I love my work and I adore my clients.  I'll post a few of my links some place if anyone enjoys tiny dogs enjoying themselves.
