I went to my PCP yesterday. Although, I didn't see him, but I did see one of the office's PA.I got weighed in, and, I am down to 273 pounds. That makes me down 67 pounds from my pre-op testing weight, from mid-February.
She told me that most everything looks excellent. My A1C (blood sugar) level is down to 5.7. I never asked what it was before, so I have no frame of reference as to what it was before. The only thing that worried her was the level of "good" cholesterol, which was almost half of what it should be. She told me to get out and exercise more.
All in all, very encouraging. I had been seeing someone in the office every 3 months, but she pushed my next appointment out 6 months.
