I'm a bander, almost 2yrs out and not out of the 200's yet. I have a follow up appt with my surgeon, Dr Reagan at Columbia St Marys in Milwaukee. I will be seeing him on Feb 14th. Isn't that sweet? no pun intended. Well, maybe a little one. I rejoined weight watchers to help me with my portion control. I like their new system. 0 points for fruits and veggies, which is awesome (I'm a vegetarian). You would think a vegetarian would not have a weight problem, at least that is what I get a lot. Just because it is vegetarian does not mean low fat nor low calorie. My husband was told by his doctor to lose 30lbs and I reminded him yesterday about that because he is prediabetic, high blood pressure and high resting heart rate. Oh and 38 years old. He recanted well you have way more than that to lose from your chunky butt and had more time! oooh, talk about being hurtful. Sad thing, the truth hurts. I have finally seen the light though. My family and friends have been right all along about him trying to sabatouge me. He doesn't want anyone one else to look at me according to them. Well, he forgot about how cute I am, so they will look no matter what! How about that! Can you tell I am a little angry? Frustrated? Depressed? I recently joined a gym and asked him to go as my guest. Nope. He won't. So I am, from now on, declaring here on this site, that I am focusing totally on me! Yes, me! I will go to the gym by myself, I will go on vacations with my sister instead of waiting on him (still no honeymoon, married 18 years), I will go buy new sneakers just because they are pretty (and motivating!). Can you tell this is a new adventure?

I am feeling great. Still losing weight even though it is slow. Had an injury occur at work and was unable to go for walks, but still only gained a pound a in two months. STILL battling bursitis in my knee.

Since my summer clinicals have started I have been feeling overwhelmed with school and work (I work 3 jobs). For the past week I have been doing really good about packing my lunch and drinking my protein drinks.

I am still working on eating breakfast every morning now, since my clinical hours vary. I feel hydrated since I have been keeping a more mindful approach to my fluid levels. I drink my protein in between meals and am very satisfied, until my next meal. I am eager to see if this speeds my weight loss along. I have not been consistent in getting to the gym, but who can when working 3 jobs and doing clinicals!? However, if I can keep working this way until school starts again in the fall I will have all my bills paid off, yes all, except my student loan. I am so on my way to becoming debt free. Another goal of mine.

Things are going great. My clothes are falling off of me and my underwear too!!! I sleep a little better. I don't need a nap in the afternoons anymore. I am not sure if my asthma has gotten any better yet, but I am sure as I lose weight that my lungs will have more room to expand. I am happy. I can't weight to get on my bike and ride back and forth to work. I live right along lake Michigan and it is beautiful. I am going for my follow up tomorrow with Dr. Regan. I hope he is happy with my results as well. I am sure there are areas that I need to tweak and I am looking forward to his guidance.
