I am married to a wonderful and supportive man (Adam) and we have 2 children. Ashton is my son who is 6 and Ocean, my daughter is 4.  I work as an Ad Designer and sit at a computer 8 hours a day which doesn't help my weight situation but I hope to add in lots of activity with the help of weight loss surgery.  It's the boost I need to help me on my way.

I have been over weight all my life. A yo-yoer. Up and down but after having my children, my weight has just gone up. Before I knew it, I ballooned. I find it hard to perform the simple daily routines now. Just bending over to pick something off the ground is a struggle. Tying my shoes? LOL only if I can sit on the couch and prop my leg up. Geez, I feel like I'm 90 years old at times.

I have been playing the waiting game now for over a year. I was first referred in June of 2014 and my Orientation was in October. I had my meeting with the surgeon for the first time on March 23. My surgeon is Dr. Starr at Humber River Hospital. I am now waiting to go to my trio appointments on June 1st and I am very anxious to get going. THAN I have to wait til AUGUST 24th! To see Dr. Glazer. Ughhh. lol. I feel like my life is on hold until this surgery happens. Trapped in this body unable to do any kind of activity with my children and husband.

THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING.....
