Daniel D. Tran

"11/18/2006rnrnDr. Tran and Dr. Halmi and Natalie truly have my appreciation. I went to see Dr. Halmi and Natlie on Thursday and was okay at the time of the appointment. Natalie was really great about talking to me and answering some questions that I had. She even had done some online research for a question I had, which really made me feel like I actually mattered. After I left the office I went home and ate lunch. That's when I really started feeling bad and ended up calling the office. I talked to Natalie and Dr. Tran and they told me to see how I felt, and to call the doctors after hours if I needed to. Well, I needed to, and long story short, Dr. Halmi and Dr. Tran made sure I got into the hospital and was admitted right to the surgical floor. They both checked in on me and made sure to get the results from my endoscopy almost as soon as I was done. They've both been so great through all of the complications I've had. Hopefully now I'll just see them for regular follow-ups!rnrnrn10/15/06rnrnDr. Tran has been the absolute best. His entire staff, along with Dr. Halmi, have really helped to make this the best experience it could be, even with the complications I've had. Both doctors have not hesitated to help me, even after hours. They've both made it a point to come into the hospital when I've been there and have kept me up to date on test results as they receive them. Natalie is a really knowledgable and friendly dietician. I have worked with a few in the past, but Natalie seems to really know her business.rnrnDr. Tran was very open and answered all of my questions from the first time I met him. He's continued to be very open and friendly in the entire time I've known him.rnrnThe staff at the office is very friendly. They do get a bit busy and hasselled, but that is a given in such a busy office.rnrnThere's really not anything I would change about Dr. Tran or Halmi.rnrnI would tell future patients to just make sure to have all of their questions ready, as Dr. Tran is ready and willing to answer them all.rnrnDr. Tran really emphasized the need for aftercare. He and Natalie, the nutritionist, made sure I was well prepared before surgery for what I would face afterwards.rnrnDr. Tran made me very aware of the risks of surgery so I knew what to expect.rnrnI would say Dr. Tran's and Dr. Halmi's bedside manner is great. Potomac Hospital

"Several of the nurses were great. Bridget, Ophelia, Renee and Sharon were excellent. The nurse trainees were very good as well, except for one who was left on her own for too much and panicked when I became very ill. I ended up waiting nearly 2 hours for antiemetics and pain medicine because she was MIA. Other than that, my experience was good."
