Well, I made it from a size 22 to a size 10!!!  I never thought I would see this day again in my lifetime.  I'm still in a dream state, really.  I still look for the larger sizes and think they will be snug or not fit, but they turn out to be too BIG!!  It's so weird and if most of you could see my face in the dressing room....you would laugh!

Well, I'm officially down 90 pounds since August 24, 2007.  What a TRIP!  I think I might make the 100 mark by my bandiversary.  I can't believe I am actually here.  I'll always be a fat girl at heart, though.  When people stop me to tell me "WOW...I didn't even recognize you", I still can't believe it.  I don't think I look THAT Much different.....but the old pictures tell the story, that's for sure!  OMG, I thought I looked OK back in the day.  I guess our minds talk us into it.  I can't believe I was that big and unhealthy.  Thank the Lord for miracles like lapband.  I want everyone who has ever struggled with weight to get the surgery.  It will change their life!!!!!  I wish it wasn't so expensive or that all insurance companies would pay for it with no hassle for those that really need it to be healthy and happy!!!!!

Well, after my last fill....I've really been dropping the weight.  I've lost 77 pounds since my surgery.  I feel great and can't believe this is actually real!!!  What else can I say?  This is the best thing that's ever happened to me (besides the birth of my son).  I encourage everyone who is thinking about getting this surgery to DO IT!  I would have this surgery 10 times a year if I had to :)

This is for my good friend Lorrain!  I am updating my profile, finally!  Please forgive me, friend....it's been 4 months since my last confession.  Things are going GREAT!  I am down 53 pounds since my very special surgery date (Aug 24, 2007).  I am happily fitting in a size 14 (which I haven't been in for 18 years).  I feel healthy and full of energy!! 

I've lost 29 pounds since my surgery........I should be celebrating that.  I mentioned yesterday that it wasn't going so well, but who am I kidding?  I think I'm doing pretty good!  Just wanted to mention that   Have a good day!

Well, the weight loss isn't going as quickly as I would like.  Found out that perhaps my doctors office didn't give me the greatest of information.  Because I've had issues with this office, I've decided to go elsewhere for my maintenance.  Kendra called a few other offices and found a GREAT one!  They actually offer educational classes and one on one support.  Every person in the office has their own phone line (sounds minor, but it's MAJOR for us).  They actually require us to go to a class to learn about our lapbands.  For the most part, the extent of our training with the other office was the doctor briefly explaining what he was going to be doing to us at pre-op.  It was good info, but not at all enough.  I don't even know what size band I have in me!  Anyway, today marks the last day with these guys.  I'm ready to start working on my weight loss and not worrying about the doctors office and what bill is coming in the mail next!

WOW...it's been a long time since I've blogged .  I had my first fill on Friday.  It feels GREAT!  I'm so glad it's finally time to start losing some real weight.  I've been anxiously waiting for the "healing" period to end.  The fill actually felt really weird.  I got a little head rush.  He put in 2 cc's.  They say I have 4 cc's in now.  I absolutely CAN feel the restriction.  I ate like 1 1/2 cups of food yesterday and felt totally full the entire time.  It's GREAT!  I just need to start on my exercise routine this week.  I need to firm up the arms.  I've lost about 20 so far, which is wonderful!!!

Well, it's over!  I am officially banded!!  Everything is going great.  I am sore, of course...but I'm healing quickly.  I'm not sick to my stomach, which I am very thankful for.  I'll be out of work for a couple more days, but then I think I'll be fine.  I really can't wait to eat something solid, though.  That's the roughest part, for SURE!  I'm looking forward to some mashed potatoes or cream of wheat.  Anything NOT sweet...that's pretty much all I've had to eat the last 3 days.  Oh well, it won't be long.  Thanks to everyone for your support!

WOO HOOO!!  I'm on my way to surgery tomorrow!  Can't wait .  It'll probably be hell for a few days, but it will be worth it!!!  I can't wait to start my life change!!!! 

Alright......I've almost made it through this liquid diet!  Only two more days.  I'll take all of my antibiotics tomorrow.  Kendy said she wasn't too thrilled with taking those, but ya gotta do it.  I am really excited for Friday to come!!!  Leslie's is tomorrow and she's ready to go!!
