It's been a long time in the coming, but I updated my photos in my profiles here on ObesityHelp. The two photos at the top of my profile were taken last night. I've also added lots of photos to my picturetrail at http://picturetrail.com/carolineam (the password for all the protected albums is still ps ). I am doing well, though still in lots of pain from 3 rounds of PS done the first 1/2 of this year. I saw a local PS here in PA again yesterday, and even though I am now off of all narcotic pain medications, he would not consider completing round 4 (more skin from my butt and thighs that needs to be removed) given that the only way he could remove the skin that needs to be removed is to do a vertical incision down my hips and outer thighs which would not only be an unsightly scar, but more importantly would be on a sensitive area likely to keloid (which is why I am in so much pain already with the first 3 rounds). He wanted to give me steriodal injections into the incisions under my breasts and on my arms and hips, but I was too afraid of the pain from the injections. Now granted, one would think I'd be brave enough to go through with them given that I've gone through some heinous rounds of reconstructive surgeries.... But even so, I wimped out... Anyone who's had to have such injections, and was the pain really all that bad and was it worth it?

Hi Sweetie - Long time no see or talk to. I happen to see your post on a support page and thought I would send you best wishes in your new place and hope that you are happy. You so deserve to be happy and I miss you very much. I hope they all know what a wonderful person they have there with you. I sure hope all your surgeries are going well. I also wanted to let you know that Vanessa and Jim are expecting a baby on Feb 15th 2006. We are all so happy about this. She had her first ultra sound yesterday and thank god everything is ok so far.
