After many heart, breathing and x-rays, I got the approval from OHIP just before my husband and I left for my consulation.  It was meant to be.  We met with Dr. Fitzer and got the surgery date of Mar 3, 2009.  Dr. Fitzer seems really genuine. He tells you like it is with kind of a soft side.  Still have to have my physical, pre-op blood work and ECG done.  Scheduled for Feb 6, 2009.  Getting anxious, feeling kind of scared at the same time.

Got all the information I could this week, had my dr. sign my form included many medical documents from recent to past.  I received the confirmation of the fax that they received the information.  I am also going to mail the original documents  25 pages in all, hopefully that is enough information.  Keeping my fingers sooooo crossed, I need this to happen! Now the waiting game starts.
