It has now been a litle over one month post-op and down 28lbs!!   I'm glad I survived the surgery!  The first 3 days were pretty rough, but then it got a little better with each passing day.  I been lucky with no nausea or vomiting!  I don't regreat it at all!  I just can't wait to joint everyone on the other side of loosing all the excess weight and keep it off!  My Dr. is one of the few that does the J-tube for 4-6 weeks post up and I tell you I could not wait to get it out.  My little niece was also pretty freak out from it.  I think she was worried about it more than me!  I onlly kept it for 4 weeks to the day from surgery, not one day more!!  I slept so good those first few nights after the J-tube came out, I couldn't believe it.  Now I just have to keep getting adjusted to the new eating habits and forming healthier ones!  Boy this is a big challege!  I read all the labels now, check sugars, carbs and fat like never before.  I do have a hard time getting all the protein in, but I bought some liquid protein with 42 gms in 3 oz.  which helps a lot.  I do have frequent problems with constipation so I'm trying to eat about 3 prunes a day and see if that helps!  I'm going on a cruise in August with my family and can't wait till the week before to go shopping for new clothes and bathing suit!  That is still 2 moths down the road, so I better just keep concentrating on lossing weight for now!  Well until next time!
