7 1/2 Months and feel great
Aug 04, 2009
After 7 1/2 Months I am down 105 lbs since my day of surgery. Even though I have exerienced significant weightloss, I was just reminded how easy it is to begin to slip and fall again. Thanks to everyone at the Jacksonville meet up for sharing their success and providing encouragement by just being willing to open and share experiences.
I now make a commitment to get back on the right track and really use my tool to loose and keep my weight off.

3 1/2 Weeks and Doing Good
Feb 06, 2009
Today I broke through the 360 mark . I can't beleive the amount of weight that I have lost in just 3 1/2 weeks. I already feel so much better and can I notice that many things are much easier to do. For example being on my feet and walking around all day at work caused me to be tired but no where near as tire and sore as 1 month ago. Good thing I keep some of the clothes that I had previously out grown. It's been so long since I wore them that nobody else remembers them so it's like a new wardrobe. Before surgery my wife had bought some new shirts that was only a 3XLT, which fit like spandex at the time. Now I am looking forward to putting them on and they fit.
So far I have been extremely blessed and not had any trouble with food, but I am not that adventerous with different foods. This week fish and shrimp was introduced. Actually ate my first meat in over a month Teusday night at the Jacksonville area WLS gathering at Logan's. Oh that was soooo good. Variety is getting better. Althought I must admit that I tried one peice of peperoni the other day. I couldn't take it any longer, and I didn't have any problems so I am gaining confidence that the future is bright for different foods.

Finally on food......
Jan 31, 2009
I went to the doctor on Teusday and got a good report on healing and weightloss. So I started eating food, can say it's solid but it's not a shake. However I noticed after a couple days I notice that my weight is had been the same for a couple days. Is this normal???
Before I was loosing 1-2 lbs a day, which was really encouraging. It seem silly but I was enjoying that rate and was hoping it would continue for a while. Guess I'm getting impatient, besides it ook a while to get this big.

Need Flavor
Jan 24, 2009
Today I'm 10 days post op. I never thought in a million years I'd be able to survive a liquid diet for 24 days. The biggest challenge now is that I have craving for various flavors. There's no hunger just the craving of a good taste.
