Hello every one my name is Gissel and i live in long island NY. I have been overweight mostly all of my life and it has been a difficult fight. I was 13 when i went into my first diet but i could'nt loose the weight. 2 years ago when i tured 18 i started to read about gastric bypass and finally this feb i decided to go for it. Mainly because of my health and for my self esteem. I have already started my process and will be done with all the pre req's by the second week of june. i still have my dietician appointment, psyc exam and 1 more group session to go. Im so excited and truly this so far has been an amazing journey. I can't wait to have all ready and hopefully have my wls the in august. Im rooting for my insurence to cover and so i can have an oppoutunity to live my life to the fullest. im excited to meet new people that can relate to what im going threw and hopefully make new friends.
