So every Monday morning as part of my normal routine I weight myself just to see how things are going and to make sure that I am on track. Well this morning I weighed myself.....

It is now official... I have lost over 100 lbs!!!! 101 to be exact... I was so happy that I had to run to my purse and get my camera because I was just that excited! I told everyone at work, I called my mom and woke her up, heck I told people I hardly know that's how excited I was about it all!!!!!

... will be a great test for me. You see I am a HUGE Red Sox fan. I have been for most of my life... Every year when the Boston comes to LA to play the Angels I go to every game... I can even remember one time my parents sold my tickets thinking I wouldn't care if we didn't go and I was sooooooooooooooo pissed off for like weeks.... It's been years and I still remember it. If that tells you anything.. So that was random but I think you get the idea of how big of a fan I am.

Well guess what this weekend is?!?!?!? It's RED SOX WEEKEND!!!! I have tickets to all three games and I can't wait!!!!! So what I mean when I say that this weekend will be a great test weekend I mean how much room will I have in my seat... Will but hips touch the sides? Will I have extra room? I can't wait to find out.

Last year when my husband and I went we were hot and sweaty... It wasn't fun. I can remember one year we stood up to take a picture and all you can see were the sweat marks... I hop this year is a totally new experience for us!

I am going to have to take pictures!

I HAVE LOST 65.9 lbs...... My husband says count it for what it really is 66 lbs!

Lately I have been spening a ton of time at the gym... Cardio, Weight Training, and Aqua [(24 hr fitness class) lots of fun!!!!] are now my life! I have also started to  play a little golf.... I had to dust off the clubs of course but I think I am going to take a gold class starting in August... Just another thing to help with the weight loss.

Oh so I had something interesting happen to me a work this week.... I have had the same women on two different days come up to me and tell me to stop loosing weight so quickly because she is getting jealous..... At first I thought it was kinda funny. So I brushed it off. But now, I am not so sure. I don't think she realizes how much work I have out into my weight loss. She propably thinks it was just the surgery.... Oh well... If I could only educated the world!

My mom (had the surgery two weeks after I did) is doing well. She is up to 50 lbs lost. She tends not to weigh herself as often as I do. Or atleast she doesn't tell me. She is feeling great and I actually got her to go to the Aqua class with us last week.

So things have been pretty great lately....

Oh yeah my husband and I just had our first wedding anniversay. I can't beleive it. I mean I can but I can't! The cool thing is that if I was to try on my wedding dress today it would fall right off of me! Not a bad problem to have huh?!?!?!?

I am now 27 and have a whole new life.... It's pretty awesome!!!!!!

It's offical!!!!! 


I HAVE LOST MORE THAN 50 LBS!!!! 

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!

So Monday will be my first day back to work. Wish me luck... I expect to go back to A LOT of e-mails! 


So I remember hearing at one of the group meetings that I went to that we store Estrogen in our fat cells and when we burn the fat cell it is released..... Man it has totally messed me up. Today especially. I went to go to see Sex In The City and I cried.... I never cry when watching movies. Oh well the price you have to pay to be healthy in the long run!

Well I have passed the one month mark and I have to say I  have never felt better. I have lost over 31 lbs. and have more energy now than before my surgery. I must admit though that at the end of the day I crash. I believe that it is only because I am still healing. 

I go back to work in a couple of weeks and I have to say I am a little bummed about it. It's been nice hanging out at home with the dogs and my mom. (My mom had surgery about 2 weeks ago and she isn't having an easy time as I did but she is doing much better now.)

Last week I was able to start my Phase 2 eating plan. I can honetly say that scrambled eggs have never tasted as good. I've been eating Egg Beaters for the most part but the other day I had a real egg and OMG!!!! It was the worst decision that I had every made!!!!!! I got so sick. So now I stick to my Egg Beaters. The other food that I have found to love that I have always hated in the past is Cottage Cheese (it was a texture thing) but now I love it. Go figure. 

The weirdest thing that I have found after surgery is that smells that didn't really bother me before surgery would kill me now.  The other day I had to go pick up lunch for my dad.... He wanted In N Out. So I went to go get it and while in the drive through line I had to close all the windows because I thought I was going to punk my guts out. Once the windows were closed and I got the food I drove home as quick as I could so that I wouldn't have to smell it for that long. It's a good thing that my husband doesn't like In N Out as much as I do or I would have a problem on my hands!

Well the surgery went great! According to the surgeons I was like Mary Poppins.... Partical Perfect in everyway.... I can't tell you how great it is to be home. Today is the first day that I really felt like doing anything. My mom came a picked me up and I hung out at her house for a little bit so things are good! 

The only problem that I am having is site soreness.... Like they said that could happen. The only one that bugs me is the big one of the left. 

Everyday it gets easier!

So this week I finally get to meet my surgeon... Which is kida weird considering my surgery is like 3 weeks away. I have heard lots of great things about her from co-workers an other group support meeting attendees. We shall see what happens.
