2 Days Post-Op

I am now 2 days post op and I must say that I am feeling exceptionally well. I expected recovery to be so much worse and more painful. Up until today the air in my body was killer! I literally felt like I got hit by a truck! My shoulders and back ached something awful. I am feeling much better now though. I have an adverse itching reaction to all pain meds apparently. I knew Vicodin and Morphene were not my friends lol but apparently Percocet and Dilaudid aren't either. Benadryl helps with that though. I am going home today, so hopefully things continue to transition smoothly. I was very disappointed by the people who were supposed to be here with me for support. Everyone flaked! My boyfriend is most likely not going to wear that title much longer either because he is being a complete a**. He decided not to come pick me up from the hospital, he said I took the easy way out and chose to be lazy. That bothers me quite a bit because he knows NOTHING about the procedure or what is required of me for success on this journey. I am still very happy with my decision thoiugh. This too shall pass
My only real complaint is this god awful drain lol I am thankful for the support that I have recieved from you al here though. I have some more before pics to upload from the day of surgery. I will do that as soon as possible. I am on the full liquid diet now, any suggestions?
