I had my surgery this week on 5/11/2010 at Greenville Hospital in Greenville PA.   I had the lapband procedure.  While I was in the recovery room, my blood pressure went up really high, so I had to be placed in the CCU, instead of  the regular nursing floor.  Everyone was so wonderful and caring to me.  I ended up staying 2 extra days, instead of just the one because of my complications.  I am recooperating at home now, and I am getting stronger with each day.  This is the best thing I did for myself, and I am proud that I did it. 

10/07/2009 -  I had my first appointment with the Surgeon's, and he told me that I am a good canidate for bariatric surgery!  Now all I need is the approval of my insurance. 


10/13/09 - Tonight I went to my first group support meeting.  I met all so many new people, and heard about their journeys.  I cannot wait to make my journey so that I can tell everyone my story. 

09/22/09 - Today the office called and I got my first appointment to see the surgeon.  I am one step closer to be healthy! 

9/16/2009 -  I started my journey and attended my Bariatric's seminar.  I am on my way to success!
