Weight has been a constant battle for as long as I can remember. I remember being a thin child up until I began school at the age of 6. After that it has all been an uphill weight climb. Oh yes, over the years there have been what seems like an infinite number of diets and weight loss products. Years of Yo-Yo dieting have brought me here, at my highest weight ever. About 6 years ago my best friend had RNY surgery and I've seen her blossom. At that time, although I supported her 100%, I thought that gastric bypass was a drastic measure. I remember thinking to myself that if I ever gained that much weight then somene should just shoot me...well nobody shot me and here I am. Not only do I meet the BMI and weight criteria, I have the co-morbidities of High blood pressure, Gerd, and Sleep apnea. After many years of research and soul searching, I have arrived. I am here and beginning my weight loss journey. For once in my life I feel hope that I can do this and succeed!!
