This year I have decided I am going to get healthy. I just turned 40 and my goal for the rest of my life is to live for myself and family. I want to be able to keep up with my family and friends. This is my second attempt in the past two years of losing weight to go through with the surgery. I only need to lose 15 more pounds to be at my surgery weight. I spoke to the bariatric department today and this time I am really motivated and comitted to my decision. I am finally going to go through with this. I know its going to change my life for the better. I haven't always been this way. But things in your life make you go through changes, some for the good and well some for the worse.
Thank goodness I have the support of my fiance'. He is making it very easy for me to continue on down this road. I am so glad I have him in my life.
I still haven't told my children, I don't know what their reactions are going to be. I am sure they are going to be happy for me, but also worried.
