"Dr. Lee Schmitt is an excellent surgeon and his office staff is top notch. Dr. Schmitt is very friendly and easy to talk to. I am hearing impaired and he and his staff made sure that I heard and understood everything about the surgery, risk and aftercare. Two ladies in his office are standouts, Neomi and Peggy. They went above their jobs duties to see that I was informed and taken care of. Because of my hearing problem on the phone they corresponded via e-mail and made appointments for me via e-mail. Dr. Schmitt practices at St. Vincent East in Birmingham and the hospital and Dr. Schmitt has won awards of Excellence for Bariatic surgery."
