I went to Anniston today for my pre-op visit with the Dr. I had to take my husband with me for this visit. They ask that you bring your spouse or family member with you to show their support and ask questions. We all met again as a group,then broke off to seperate rooms to have our 1-on-1 time with the doctor and his surgical assistant. Everything went great. Now,the nerves have kicked in.... I have to have my pre-admission testing done next week. Exactly one week from my surgery date.I'll let you know how it goes...

I got approved!! I called BC/BS. I am so impatient I had to know something!! YES. I am approved. I immediately called my Dr. to get my surgery date. March 20!! I picked the date because we are on Spring Break that week. I am a teacher so I really wanted that date.They said I took the last spot for that day! I am so ready for this surgery.Now,I've got to tell my husband that I got my date.WOW! Is this real?

Still waiting on approval !! I am so excited. BC/BS has already pre-approved me,I just have to get the official go ahead so I can get my surgery date.

I had my first office visit /seminar today. I know that I've chosen the right surgeon!!! They did a liver sonogram and some blood work.They will send in all my insurance info. today. Now we just wait for the official approval.
