Daniel, I was just banded on Wednesday. It went great for me and it will for you too. It is important that you get up and walking in the hospital as quickly as possible. Congratulations on your surgery! The next year is going to be the most amazing of your life. I just want to let you know that here in the beginning is the toughest part. You will feel better than normal soon! These first few weeks and the surgery will only be a memory and you will be on to your new life. I am 13 months post op and I have lost nearly 130 pounds. I went from a size 24 to a 4 in a little over 6 months. Miracles do and will happen for you. I have tried to keep a profile that can be used as a resource. I hope and pray that all goes well for you during your surgery and recovery. I know you will be thrilled when you get to the "Losing" side! It is so funny that all of our lives we look at the word "Loser" as a negative thing...now it is fantastic!
