I can't believe I wear a size 10

Hello all !!! I am shocked at what I see in the mirror... it's like a different person. I am now in a size 10 pants/ 12 jeans, and the size 12 jeans are with long johns underneath (I live in Alaska !) It was like yesterday that I was in a size 18-20 jeans.
I went to the thrift store here and bought 2 pr. of shorts- no, i'm not crazy, we're going to Hawaii shortly, ha ha ha, anyway, I have to take the shorts back because they are too big !!! :) they are a size 12.
My only hope is that I won't get any smaller. There is a woman I work with who had the surgery, and she is way too skinny. She looks like she's a crack head or an Ethiopian refugee. Her face is all caved in, and the skin is saggy...I dont want to look like that.
I am very happy though. I feel better, don't have aches and pains like before, and I can fit into desks at school !!!! yeah !
I am now wearing the size I wore in 9th grade. unbelieveable.

Hello everyone,
Sorry I've been SO busy- working FT nights, taking 3 classes at UAA, keeping up with my son and husband.... and, we had a bear come into our backyard and ravage our trash cans... I guess they're getting hungry this time of year...
I went from a size 20 jeans to now wearing a size 14 !!!! amazing !!!! I feel SO MUCH BETTER !!! I can actually move !!! : )
I am still having trouble with the energy aspect though- I feel drained all the time. Got to go, have a class in 2hrs and I have to get my homework ready...
I will try to check in more often. My regular home email is [email protected]

hello... weighed myself today- lost 5 more lbs. !!! still trying to get energy of any kind... debating on trying that 5 hour energy drink. Has anyone tried it (after having RNY) ???

hello everyone, I'm back from the "honeymoon" ... the first 3 days he was sick, then I ate some Hawaiian food and I was sick... then his mom had to go to the hospital, oy vey. I'm glad to be back home. Now to get on with things (work, school, etc), and to see if he will go to counseling. Thanks to everyone who replied, I appreciate it more than you know.

Post Date: 6/5/11 9:45 pm I don't know how far I willl get with this post...lately Ive been feeling like **** at the end of this week my husband and I will be in Kauai, celebrating our honeymoon (we got married in Kauai on 10/10/10) since we couldn't have one when we got married because all our family was there... I feel like I live in a prison. He critisizes everything I do, If I don't do it his way- it's wrong. He's in my bank account checking to see what I buy, spend, etc. 2-3x a day, even asks me what I spent bla bla bla on. He has all my accounts and passwords, and claims he's "helping me". He tells me what bills (of my own) to pay, and has all his accounts and passwords encrypted, etc. I don't think it's fair that he goes into my accounts like that. I don't ask to see his, and could care less. He just came in here, tried to look on my computer and see what i'm doing. He gets mad when I ask him why he has to know everything. I changed all my passwords once before, and 2-3x a day he would hound me about it so much, I switched them back. He goes over my e-mails, etc. When he drives my car, he changes the radio stations to "his" liking, moves my stuff around where I can't find it. This is just the tip of the iceberg. He has anger issues. He gets mad over trivial stuff, yells and slams stuff. Then 20 min. later comes to me trying to kiss me and say he's sorry. He has never hit me, but he's been "joking" about it, saying things like "don't make me hit you"... if he ever hits me, I'm outta' here. I don't know how much more of this I can take, especially thinking about going on a honeymoon with him !!! He is like Dr. Jeckyl- Mr. Hyde since we got married. He gets mad because I don't like kissing him- he picks his nose and puts the boogers in his mouth-no **** !!!! I've only seen Nun's do that in a Catholic Church... UGH!!!! Yeah- I know, this has nothing to do with my surgery, and I apologize... I'm just at my wits end and dont know what to do. Any Ideas ???? just realized- whatever I title this, it will show up on my email when someone replies, so I have to think of something else... |

Hello all.... weighed myself today, 199 lbs. !!!! It's coming off slowly, but i'm NOT complaining !!! The biggest thing I have to get over is that I get tired easily, and I don't know why. I am still on FMLA until June 21st. I started exercising... well, what I call exercising is painting my office. Since I have to paint the whole room in Kilz twice (to cover the dark red some idiots painted it), then paint it the beautiful dirty-mustard color, I think that is exercise. School started for summer term, so I've got that going on too. Type again soon..... Debi

my surgery date !!!! woo hoo !!!! I can't wait !!!
soon I will be able to sit in regular chairs without pain, and fly to see my family without needing help getting in and out of the seat !!!

So, I told my "other half" that my surgery is 4/14, and he said oh, ok. Then half an hour later, while he was on the computer, he yells, "Oh S#@% !!! you can't have surgery then, I won't be here !!!" Now what, I thought... come to find out his job is sending him to Dutch Harbor/ Attu for a week and he won't be here then, so now I have to ask if I can get my surgery date moved to 2wks out (farther)...crap. I hope they can do it...

Hello all.... so, I was approved... have talked to the insurance last week and this week, but have not heard from the Dr.'s office. I just left them a message to call me to set a date. People at my job are already scheduling weeks at a time off, I want to get my dibs in early. Because this is "elective" surgery, I can see the director telling me "NO, we don't have enough staff to cover during that time"...
