Well, it has been a long tough journey, but I am so much closer than I was just a couple of weeks ago.  So much has happened in that 2 weeks, too.  I have spoken with my PCP and she is behind me 100%.  I've told my family and to my surprise they are 110% behind me.  I managed to convince HR at work to allow me to change my insurance plan after open enrollment, so that my procedure will be covered.  So, now I will only be paying approximately $2500 as opposed to $19,000.  I even got approved for a loan to pay for the procedure myself, if switching insurances fell through.  Like my mom said, it was meant for me to get this procedure...otherwise none of this stuff would have fallen into place.

Ain't life grand?
