Hello I weighed in at 158 on Monday morning.  Not bad after my second Thanksgiving after wls.  I will get this weight back off.

Well hello it is the day after thanksgiving and I made it praise the Lord.  This is the second Thanksgiving since WLS.  I am up one pound which is okay because it will be off by my offical weigh in day on Monday.  Yesterday I started out with a protein shake which was a very good thing to do.  I woke up around 7 am and did not sit down again until around 6 in the evening.  Any other time I would have been begging my Mother to let me take at least a 30 minute nap.  
I was in the mood to cook so I did just that.  I fixed bbq pulled pork bbq ribs 4 cheese mac and cheese.  Brussel sprouts with bacon, fried corn and bacon and sausage dressing with gravy.  I know that sounds like a lot of carbs and fat involved in the menu but I made substitions when I could.  I will not cook like that for a very long time.  I grazed while I cooked.  Big no no.  I have to admit that I am a foodaholic bu tby God's grace I will stay in control.  When we went to dinner I did put on my compression garment  and I had my little baby spoon to eat.  I am happy how I got through the day.  It is not about the food but about family and friends.  I was able to take a plate to one of my friends which I had never done so I am happy that I did that.  
Tonight my Mother and I are going to the Ebony Fashion Fair show.  I 
I am going to dress cute but not to draw attention to myself.  I will post pictures.

Hello just wanted to post my results of my latest fitness assesment.
My body fat content according to the fitness assement my fat content is 22.3 percent of my body weight.   I am now considered being fit and no weight loss is recommended unless desired for aesthetics of athletic performance.  My resting heart rate is 42 beats per minute.  Which is considered excellent.  My blood pressure during the test was 137/91 because I was still angry over a text message that I received from Mr. T.B.  who I met on yahoo personals.  He is a clown that is prettty pathetic.  He could not handle my weight loss.  He knew this when he met me.   Women should not lay down everything that they have accomplished  for a sake of having a man.  I will not change my exercise nor eating habits for a man.  I did not have WLS to please a man.  I wanted to be healthy and gosh darnnnit I am healthy and I like me.  I can not worry about what others think of me because of my weightl loss.  I like what I found on anothers blog.

Monday November 6,2006 Weigh in Day

Good Day.  Today is Monday November 6th.  I am weighing in at 152.50 pounds.  I am getting that weight back off.  I went to eat at the Cracker barrel on friday.  I ate some dumplins salad with butter milk dressing and catfish.  Ate just a little bit of each item.  Saturday started with a protien shake.  Took Buddy my dog for a run  in the park.  It was cold out it was nice.  Later on in the day I worked at the International Festival.  In years past I would just eat the whole time that I was there this time I ate a little and then purchased some beautiful Asian outfits.  I will take pictures when I wear it.  Later on in the evening went to a water park at the hotel Ft Rapids.

Just wanted to post how my work out was yesterday was.  It was really good.  I ran a mile in 15 minutes.  I actually ran.  I wouldn't believed that a couple of years and a 120 pounds ago!  I praise God for this.  I will sign up for the 5k race in March of 2007.

Hi I am getting my mind together.  weight is 158 lbs. I feel so fat.  I will be keeping a food diary again and lowering my intake of food.  I think that I have been eating too much.  I will have to weigh an measure everything that I put in my mouth.  I have got to get this under control before the holidays get here.  I am determined not to gain this weight back.  I found the nutritional guidelines on the forum page and I will be attending the OH conference that will be held here on the 18th of November.  I will also be attending the wls group that will be held tomorrow.  I need all the support that I can get.  Just ranting.  Thanks alot.  Going to the gym and starting my training for a 5k.  I am excited about that.

7:25 p.m  Hello I went to the gym and had a really good work out.  I ran at 4.5 mph at intervals of a 60 seconds and walk for 90 seconds. I did this for 10 minutes.  It was fun.  I will do it again on Thursday.


Monday's Weigh-in 10/30/2006

Today is Monday  October 30,2006.  I am weighing 158 lbs for the 3rd week.  I feel fat even though I am wearing a size 6.  Now is the time to but the brakes on my eating habits.  It appears that I am able to hold more in my pouch.  I ate non-stop.  I went on a hayride and at two roasted hotogs and bunch of other junk.  Earlier in the week.  I had gotten back down to 154 pounds.  I have to start measuring what I eat before I eat.  Be accountable to what I put in my mouth.  I am determined not to put this weight back on.  I know a girl who is tipping the scales at 400 pounds and her joints are giving out and the doctor has told her that there is nothing else that he can do for her.  I hope that she will consider WLS.  It is a last resort but if she does it she will be able to walk again.

10/23/2006 Well after eating really wrong but still working out my weight is up to 158 lbs.  But today 10/25/2006 I am weighing in at 155.5 lbs.    I am getting my head back into a good place and watching what I am eating again.   I have a new work out partner who is pushing me to the extreme!!!  I am really sore but enjoying the results.    I am in a size 6!!!!
