"Everyone on the staff is very passionate about weight loss surgery. I have been working with the dietitians in the program for the last 6 months as a requirement for my insurance approval and everyone has been extremely helpful.
My one concern during the 6 month prep was the number of nutritionists I worked with, 5 total, each one seemed to have a different area to stress so that was a bit challenging.
My other challenge was my vegetarian diet, none of the foods provided in the pre-surgery diet meet my needs, almost all contain gelatin. It has been a bit challenging working to figure out what my plan will be since I am "out of the box" for their normal program. I am still shocked that I am the only vegetarian they have encountered in all their surgeries."
