Well I am back home !!! Still pretty sore and moving slowly but all in all everything went great...I try to eat my three meals like I am suppose to but its hard. I eat a little then thats all I want , actually I dont want it at all..But I know that i have to eat so I am !!! I slept a lot yestrday ..I think the ride home wore me out ..I am walking around in the house quite a bit so thats good!! well I will keep everyne updated on my progress..

Well tomorow is the big day !!! I am sooooo ready !!! I think I have been more worried about today's "clean out" then the actual surgery !!! I can't believe that after tomorrow this person sitting here will be gone.. all the fat , emotional baggage and low self esteem gone !!! I know that this is the beginning of a great new journey .. and i am ready for all the challenges that lye ahead..although I am getting rid of alot I know I have much to learn about eating healthy for the rest of my life,exercise,and finding the person I once was... 
 
I want to thank all of you that have given me information I needed to make this journey.. This oh family is the best a person can have.. I will post as soon as I am home from hospital to update on my surgery !!! Thanks again from the bottom of my heart !!! 

OK so know I have my post op diet and nutrition class on the 21st preop with dr. Ray on the 22nd and I also get to start my liquid diet that day !! YEAH ME !! Two weeks that will really suck but oh well it has to be done.. I am really getting excited now and a little nervous too.. More nervous about getting off these extra pounds I gained since my consult with Dr. Ray. I hope the liquid diet helps nothing else seems to be.. And if I don't get back to consult weight will he still do surgery  !! Please pray !!!

Hey everyone ,I thought I was dreaming today when Terry from Dr. Ray's office called and told me she got my denial overturned !!! I can not explain how I feel . I don't know if I could be any happier if someone told me I had just won the lottery !!! I cant wait .. I should know in a week or so what my surgery date will be !!

Well I was denied first time , which I expected .. Just waiting on the appeals process now . I am not going to give up .. I am still gaining which I dont pose a problem . Depression has gotten worse. I have got to get out of this slump!!

Hey everyone, I havn't posted in a few months, but to let you know I have my last supervised weight loss apt. Nov 2.... I am so happy this part is almost over.. Hopefully we can get everything turned in shortly after and get some good news. I have been told that they usually deny you the first time so I am trying not to get my hopes up to high.. I would really love to have surgery before the end of the year but that likely will not happen but January will work too.. Keep your fingers crossed for me and thanks to all of you that have given advice !!!

I have been doing my six month medically supervised diet since I posted in June. I will finish up in November ..YEAH !!! I hope I can get approved quickly but I am not getting my hopes up !! I am so excited and can't wait.. A few co workers have had the surgery and are doing wonderful and there are three of us that are still in process. I believe I have everything done except the pre op class and appointment with the doc again.. Thanks for all the help with questions Ive had , It really helps out so very much ..May God bless each and every one of you !!

Hey it's been a while since I posted .. after meeting with the surgeon in september I found out I was going to need $ 3000 to have surgery .. So I gave up but I have found a new surgeon he is a wonderful man I am really impressed with him. I should be having surgery somewhere near the end of the year !!! Keep your fingers crossed for me !

This is my first post , and I am hoping to have surgery. I meet with the surgeon on september 2nd. I should be able to reprt back in after that. If anyne has any suggestions or helpful info it would be greatly appreciated.
