Hi Evett my very dear friend,your so close now to joining the lossing side I'm very proud of you,and know you will do just fine,just remember to walk as soon as you can after surgery,and drink your water,and you will be fine,I'm 16 days post-op and doing fine as you will to, I will keep you in my prayers for a speedy and safe recovery,and looking forward to getting to talk to you afterwards,Evett we all here will be praying for you so just take it easy til your day and I will see you on the lossing side hugssssssssssss.

Hi Evett, I too am from El Paso, TX and hoping to have surgery with Dr. Castro, It's nice to know that someone from El Paso is also going to do this. I just had my first appointment with Liz at the Bariatric Center, and I'm waiting on approval from my insurnace. I'm 5'4" 245 a mother of a 5 & 4 year olds. The only thing that worries me is that I dont have records of where I have gone to doctors for my weight loss, just diets I have attempted. If you can give me good insights I would appreciate them. I will be praying that everything goes well on your surgery since it is very soon. God bless you.

Hello Evett - Wooohooo, your second chance at life is only a few short days away, <b>Congratulations!</b> My prayers and best wishes are with you as you take the first steps down the path to a healthier and thinner you. (I had my surgery 9 months ago and have since lost a 150 pounds, only 50 more to goal!!) Just remember your overall attitude plays a large role in your recovery, keep it POSITIVE and ask lots and lots of questions. I look forward to reading the "updates" to your profile as your journey progresses. Dont forget to walk, walk, WALK right after surgery, no matter how tired you are......AND get your protein and water in daily, lots and lots of both, your health depends on it.
