Hi Brenda,
Sorry to post here, but it wouldn't work on the forum page. I just wanted to comment on you question about vitamens. I see a lot of people are taking Flinstone vitamens. I was told by my MD that that really is good enough. Kaiser reccomends Trader Joes Multi vitamen w/iron, and they also carry the subligual B12's. The dosage of the multi vitamen is 2x a day, which I think is helpful also because I take one in the am with breakfast and one at lunch or dinner which I believe helps with absorption. Citrical is another highly recommended vitamen. I take a fish oil (they're huge, but doesn't get stuck), and a flaxseed oil, a C, and E, and one extra iron pill, and Magnesium. I rattle when I walk, and these aren't really all necessary, but I figure it can't hurt. Some days I just get the multi and calcium in. I've had 2 b-12 shots which helped boost my energy when I was ill.
Your energy may be low due to lack of water also, at least that affected me. We are naturally going to be lower energy because we eat so much less calories than we used to, but with all the above, water and exercise, we can help it out.
Good luck to you
