Hi, Julie! Thanks so much for your encouraging words on my surgery support page. I love knowing everyone who will be in my anniversary group. Julie - yes, we're both in this thing together - with a few others on our big day!!! I expect you to come through this with flying colors and a smile - you have a great sense of humor - and believe me - it comes in handy when you're in a hospital!! Hello Julie - Just a quick note to let you know that I'll be thinking of you on your very special and life changing day and I wanted to be one of many to say Congratulations! My thoughts and prayers are with you for a safe and speedy recovery. I'm a FIRM believer that positive attitudes and a good sense of humor can be a big help in getting those results. You're about to be blessed with a second chance to live a healthier and thinner life. Granted, there can be some ROUGH spots along the way but NO worse then sitting life out on the sidelines in our over weight shells. Besides, you have the best MENTOR you could ever ask for, in your sister, Dianna! What a wonderful, beautiful, gracious soul she is - who loves you very much and wants nothing but happiness and success for you. Watch out world, WLS surgery will set you free and the sky is the limit! This surgery has been nothing short of a miracle for me and I will be forever grateful. I've lost 230 lbs and have been at goal and in maintenance for over a year now.
