Down to a Size 6 or 8 depending on the manufacturer.  Some loose skin but I'll live.  I got Sculptra Collagen injections to help with the wrinkles on my face from losing fat on my face....feel great!  Enough is enough though.  I look great in my skinny jeans so hopefully I'm stop losing weight any time now!!!!

Down to 157 and size 10.  Geez I hope I'm going to stop losing soon......also starting to get sick of hearing how fabulous I look.  It's starting to get awkward.  People say it in front of others who don't know the story and I feel stupid.  They keep asking how I'm feeling, and my reply is "like a helium balloon"....llight as a feather!!!!!

Also, people are giving me all this credit for losing the weight and saying how hard it must be and to keep up the good work.  I haven't got the heart to tell them that I don't diet, don't exercise and eat whatever I want....the weight loss is out of my control.

People keep saying that I should exercise and all that but that's what got me in the mess in the first place so I recommend to everyone that if you don't plan to eat or exercise the same way for the rest of your life - don't start.  You will just get back on the yo yo weight wagon again!!!!

Get to a comfortable place with yourself and stay there!!!!  Don't confuse your body again!

Well I have lost 83 lbs and now weigh 165 and am at a Size 12.  Considerably smaller than in the avatar picture if you can believe it.....now I wonder if I'll stop....oh well....what a ride....I love it!!!!

I waited and waited to change my profile picture....just one more lb....just one more lb.....but finally I said enough is enough.  So here is the new me...40 lbs to go from 100....so I'm going to hang in there but quite frankly if I don't lose another iota of weight I'd still be thrilled to bits!!!!  Maybe not a model but sure as hell normal!!!!!  Good luck to all of you who are either starting your journey or contemplating one, for me it was the best thing I ever did!!!!  It's not all a bed of roses but for the few thorns you stumble on along the way, it was well worth it for me.  I have my life back!  Good luck everyone!!!

Am now down to 192 and most people think I'm 150.  There is a really amazing difference and I'll take a new picture one of these days....I'm losing weight but I'm also losing the elasticity of the skin in my face and now I have wrinkles like a 70 year old.. Who cares!!!!  I feel great!!!!  I never have to worry about clothes, never worry about what I'm going to wear to work, I can't wait because I have so many choices now!!!!

Going to Cancun in March and can't wait to be one of the normal people!!!!
 

It has now been 5 monthhs I am weigh 197.4 as of this morning.  About 51 lbs lost.  I have not been this size for 10 years.  Down from Size 22 to Size 16 in some and 14 in others.  Totally Amazing!!!!  It really just hit me last week that I really, really was smaller.  And Wow what a moment!!!  My husband said it was so nice to see me look in the mirror and not see pain in my eyes.  I fell normal again.  If I never lost another lb it would be ok.  I just look like everybody else again!!!!  I don't need to be a model.

I was struggling with eating for a while but it is just a matter of eating very small amounts slowly.  Still haven't mastered that art but I do know what I have to do.  I am never hungry but I am never satisfied either however, the upside is you can run around like a spring chicken and buy neat clothes and feel good in your own skin again so you dont' care!!!!!

I can't thank Dr. Aceves enough for giving me my life back!!!!!

It is approx one month post Lap RNY and I must say I'm not doing as well as I did for the first few weeks.  Now I am really not able to eat anything without feeling nauseous....not much fun.  I eat crackers and peanut butter and that's about all I can get down...and strangely enough...potatoe chips...which I hardly ate all before the surgery.

I'm struggling getting the water in, forget getting all the protein in, and am also struggling to get in all the viatmins.....its no fun I can tell you.

I had Clamato Juice and Vodka at a party.....not even a hint of a buzz....had it again when I went sailing.....again not even a hint of a buzz....weird!!!!

I can drink almost any liquid without feeling sick but forget eating!!!!  If this doesn't get better soon, I will probably be in big trouble....oh well....will see what the future brings......I'm down 22.6 lbs and thats not bad.

If you're watching my weight tracker you'll see I had a 10 lb weight gain spike just before surgery.....well I quit smoking on April 28....that's all you need to know!!!!

It has been a week since I had my LAP RNY.  I can't even begin to explain what a wonderful experience I had in Mexico.  I have never been more cared for in  a more clean and professional environment in my life.   I had three Drs.  Dr Aceves, and his assistants Dr. Campu and Dr. Lopez.....all of whom checked on me AT LEAST twice a day.  This does not include the surigal nurse Sergio who also checked in andthe duty nurses who were always taking my temperature and blood pressure.  

I had my own private suite.  You would never call it a hospital room...leather furniture, marble bathroom, flat screen television....honestly I was gob smacked!!!!

The hospital is a private hospital which caters to the wealthy in Mexico....it was like being at a resort really.   

Do they know what they are doing....you bet!!!!!!  They are at the top of their field.   And the aftercare is second to none!!!!!  

I had the surgery on Saturday morning, was in massive pain Sunday afternoon late to early Tuesday morning.  I was wondering what I had done to myself and regretting ever deciding to have the surgery .  I was out shopping on Tuesday afternoon and forgot what all the fuss was about.  Flew home Thursday and have been pinching myself ever since.  I've lost 10 lbs and am ecstatic!!!!!!     I have my life back!!!!!!
