"Didn't actually meet Dr. Anvari until he checked me after surgery...the guy I had seen that did my endoscopy/colonoscopy and who talked to me first in the OR was someone different but very personable checked on me afterwards twice a day.
As far as first impression, hard to have one when he spent all of one minute asking how I felt. His bedside manner in that length of time was good.
I am very impressed with all other staff at St. Joe's Bariatric...nurses couldn't be more helpful and attentive and aftercare starts tomorrow.
I would rate Dr. Anvari a 6 out of 10 only because I never really got to meet him before surgery otherwise as far as skill and competence as a surgeon I would give him a 9+ as I have had no complications, out of hospital a day early, and feel great.
