Hi Gail, and congrats on making it to the losing side! I too made in on June 30 and came home July 3, the day of your surgery. My experience has not been nearly as awful postop as I feared it would. It hurts but the pain meds take the edge off so I can move about each day. I am really tired once I got home (surprised me a bit) so be sure to have a helper once you are home for those first few days. Congrats and may God see you home safely! HUGS

So close to a new you and so many emotions! I haven't had mine yet but am hoping for this summer. My thoughts are with you before,during, and after. Keep up with the posts. They do help. With each reply you get there are 10 others you have helped or touched in some form or way. Listen to your peers and mostly your Dr. and support group. they know what you need. I'll be watching for those updated posts!
