1st week out...

Well, it's official and been one week. I am sleeved. It's been kind of hectic trying to get used to all this new-ness
the procedure went well. the only hiccup was i couldn't get water down the next day so had to stay one extra day in the hospital.

husband and family (and some friends) have been supportive and that has helped a lot.

my highest weight was 311 lbs.
my weight the day i got my surgery date was 302 lbs
my weight the day of my surgery was 299 lbs
my weight the first post-op visit was 281 lbs.

wow! that's 18 lbs in one week. this is a mind bender when I look at the scale.

my home scale is actually 2 lbs less than the doctor's (sans clothes). I haven't seen this number in 3 years.

i plan to add more photos soon. my computer was on the fritz for a while but looks like some of the kinks have been worked out  see you soon.
