so i wake up today and my surgery is TOMORROW! i really seem to be at a place of peace with it, because the other day i was freaking out sooooo bad. I guess i have a lot of ppl in my corner praying for me and i just thank god.  I thought the protein shakes were bad all week long, i was soooo wrong. i love them compared to this lovely clear soup and liquid day, diet snapple disgusting, beef broth just gross. well ill be back in a few days to post again...  

um my birthday was the 5th and it was really nice to get my last BIG meal on my birthday. but then i woke up on the 6th and started my pre op diet... It was really hard to even get three shakes down that first day, cant say ive been really hungry or if it a mind over matter thing of knowing that you should have food.. I kinda have the shakes in my hands a little bit but im guessing its from the liquid diet.  and the low calories, i went from eating 1600 to under 1000. but i did lose a pound in a day.. thats kinda cool...

 Its October 12!!!!!!!!

first of all i lose 6 pounds since my last post!! and Today i got cleared for my psych eval.. and on the way from that appt i got a phone call that said i was APPROVED for surgery!!!! OMG im soo EXCITED!!!! call the surgeons office and hoping to hear something back from them soon with my SURGERY DATE!!!!!! 

 I started changing my life about 1.5 months ago.. i started counting calories and watching my portions sizes. i also have been trying my hardest to get off my a** and work out. Ive been working out in the house in the morning most morning and also walking or swimming laps. Ive lost 10  lbs on my own.. but im thinkin and have discussed with the my doctor that since i have so much to lose id like to get the realize band to help me on my journey. so monday the 13th i had my first consultation with a surgery out of riverside ca..  he says i meet the criteria and sent in my paper work to be approved with my insurance... Im super excited!!!!
