Finally had my surgery Aug 15 after many false starts. I feel. Like a horse kicked me in the chest. I'm wondering if I'll be ready to return to work on Monday.

I finally have a surgery date, next Tuesday. I'm excited and scared, never had surgery before. What should I bring to the hospital? I'm worried my things may get stolen

Should I tell everyone I had WLS, (After the surgery)? I'm embarrassed and ashamed that I let myself gain so much weight. Would it be bad if I didn't tell everyone?

I'll be 61 next month and hope to get th DS soon. I know most patients are younger than me. Anyone ot there 60 or above?
