I've  struggled with my weight for the past 10 Years. My weight at surgery was 312lbs. Prior to all the weight gain; I weighed 140lbs.  With life comes changes and with  changes the emotional roller coaster: my weight went along for the ride. 2 years ago I decided to have the surgery. In speaking to my family and friends I became discouraged and i didn't go through with it. I heard things like "Its the easy way out" "it's nothing that a little exercise wont fix"  and the best " it's so extreme". This time around I didn't tell anyone until after the surgery; even than I only told 3 people. I realize that It was personal decision. I needed to do this for me and only me. Although my friends and family  meant well;  they are not familiar with the everyday struggle.

I will be turning 40 in April. I will be going to Dominican Republic with 4 other girlfriends. For the first time in my life I am looking forward to going on Vacation
