I had a great consult with him, and was pleased with his fellowship at UC Davis. He is older than he looks. He answered all my questions, was more than willing to discuss bougie sizes, personal failure rates, etc. with me. His manner is very confidence inspiring and I felt he had training and a fair number of sleeves under his belt. So I went forward with him. I am only 5 days post-op, but I have had a super smooth recovery. I had great care in the hospital, he came several times a day, and I had no gas pain afterwards. "
