"Dr. Nelson is an excellent surgeon, professional, and very kind. My positive impression of her has only increased as I have gone through my surgery and am now in post op follow-up. She was up front, honest, very knowledgeable and caring. Pre-op teaching, after care and patient follow-up were strongly emphasized and are carried out in an organized and personalized manner. All the risks of surgery were explained both in oral and written fashion. I had absolutely no qualms about having Dr. Nelson do my surgery. I am so happy with my choice of surgeon and I can highly recommend her to anyone. She is associated with a Bariatric Center of Excellence and it certainly was apparent.
