Happy Halloweeeeeeeen! This is my absolute favorite time of year! And I am celebrating by getting the ball rolling on yet another leg of my journey toward health by means of *extreme* weight loss.
Last night I finally applied for insurance through BCBS. Now I know all you moms out there are shaking your fingers at me tsk-tsking, but please understand... paying for insurance is HARD for a 22 year old married college kid. Hubby and I put it off for two and a half years now, because we couldn't afford it. Nonetheless, after deciding that WLS is the route I would like to take, the paperwork is in, and hopefully within the month, I'll have coverage through a PPO through Blue Choice.
I chose BCBS because of all the positive comments I've read on here about BCBS insurance approving WLS. I'm hoping to keep my fighting through the red tape of it all to a bare minimum. I'm open to suggestions on how to make that happen, BTW. *smiles*
So I suppose that's all for now. I hope to make friends among you and to help where I can!
