ive been super busy with school but i had to come and update u guys:)  today im 21 weeks post op and i have lost 58 lbs!! my highest weight was(3/2011) 347 lbs. on the day of surgery (12/7/11) i was 308lbs  today i weigh 250lbs:)  

all is well, eating small and excerising 5days a week, no problems after surgery, weight is coming of fairly slowly but its coming off:)..im very happy.

its been hard but im hanging in there and staying positive I lost 2 of the only 3 people in this whole world who trully understood me! my hubby is the 3rd. im glad hes in my life and so supportive. i am a strong person and will get through this! my surgery is just 11 DAYS AWAY!! but its a bittersweet feeling. i just ask that you all pray for me for a safe surgery and speedy recovery its also been 2 months since i quit smoking, so yay me!!  also im still on a strict high protein low carb diet which i honestly screwed up on twice already, i honestly let my stress get to me but im back on track now and going running again,  things will get better soon i know it!  got my last surgeon visit and registration for the hospital on dec 1st. i hope u all enjoyed thanksgiving with your family, love u all and wish me luck.

my mother and father passed away 4 months apart......my dad in july2011 and my mom on sun 11/6/2011! words can not express the pain i feel right now but with gods grace i will get through this! please pray for me and my familly.......R.I.P mommy and daddy...i will always love u .......I WILL UPDATE SOON:)

YES ITS TRUE I FINALLY HAVE A DATE SET FOR 12/7/2011!  IM HAPPY AND SCARED AT THE SAME TIME BUT I KNOW IM MAKING THE RIGHT DECISION, THE PROCEDURE I HAVE CHOSEN IS THE RNY ONLY BECAUSE ITS BEEN AROUND LONGER AND WITH MY HEIGHT AND WEIGHT I FEEL LIKE I WILL HAVE THE MOST SUCCESS. NEXT UP IS MY PSYCH EVALUATION ON 10/31/2011 THEN MORE LABS. MY SURGEON ALSO PUT ME ON A STRICT NO CARB HIGH PROTEIN DIET TO FOLLOW UP UNTIL SURGERY. I WILL USE THIS EXTRA TIME TO LOSE MORE WEIGHT B4 SURGERY, HE ALSO TOLD ME I CANNOT GAIN ANY WEIGHT WHILE i WAIT FOR SURGERY BECAUSE THEY WANT THE LIVER TO SHRINK MORE.  IM ALSO TAKING MY MULTIVITAMINS ALONG WITH MY CALCIUM AND NOW "PRILOSEC" TO GET MY BODY READY FOR WHATS ABOUT TO HAPPEN, THEY FOUND GALLSTONES DURING MY ULTRASOUND SO HE WILL BE REMOVING MY GALLBLADDER AS WELL. i WILL DEF UPDATE SOON............PLEASE PRAY FOR ME AND HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL ON THE LOSERZ BENCH SOON:)

Well as i wait for my surgery consult I'm still exercising and eating right! My plan is to be 280 before surgery and today im at 309lbs (a loss of 38 lbs since my PCP visit) so we will see, i gotta stay confident and determined! im commited to a healthy lifestyle for life! also im taking all my vitamins which include:

Multivitamins	Liquid Vitamins	Vitamin B Complex	Vitamin B12
Vitamin B6	Vitamin C	Vitamin D	Calcium
Iron	Zinc	Omega 3s

i need more vitamin D my doc says, so they up'd my IU's..also im making my own protein shakes with "whey". I'm so anxious and excited and will def update soon and after my surgery consult to give u guys my surgery date...yay:)

First of all i gotta say R.I.P to my dad who passed away suddenly on 7/10/2011, i miss him so much and i know hes watching over me from heaven:).....My ins is thru Kaiser and they have you jump through a couple of hoops until your approved, so: I completed the mandatory 12 week ("options calsses") on 7/22/2011 had my appt with my prev med doc on 8/4/2011 and finished all my labs, US, EKG and stool that same day (woot woot!). Went to a seminar held by Dr. Suh of Suh bariatrics in murrietta on 8/22/2011 (2hrs long) but worth it. I decided that he would be my surgeon of choice.  So on 8/26/2011 i recieved my Approval for surgery and the refferal to see the surgeon! So Today 8/29/2011 I called Dr. Suh's office to schedule an appt( I was suppose to wait for a call but I like to keep things moving). My appt with Dr. Suh is on OCT 20, 2011!!! yes its about 7 weeks away because hes so backed up. at the appt i will be scheduled for surgery around mid to end of NOV or beggining of DEC. its a longer wait but im ok with it because it took me a hell of a lot longer to put the weight on...LOL  as for the surgery procedure i want????? Im in between the VSG and the RNY....whats your suggestions or opinions on each of these surgeries? i have ruled out the Lap band completely because it wouldnt work for me. my numbers: HW 347/ CW 315 / GWB4S 280 or 290, no serious health problems at ALL.   you all take care and i will update soon:)

Well i recieved a call today and finally got accepted into options, now its time to get the ball rollin. Got half of my tests done already and now im starting a new liquid diet and vitamin regimen. i want to lose 30 lbs in 3 months so hopefully i can up my work out and get prepared for surgey. I know its gonna be a long road ahead but this surgery is only a tool and i always remeber that. Well hello everyone , i have been going through alot but i have not forgotten about you. But i did put my WL on hold to help my mother but now shes doing better and im back on tha grind! so far i switched from iehp to my hubbys ins. (Kaiser). Which i had for 5 yrs and used it for the birth of my 2 kids and iehp was my back up. but i had chosen to persue WLS through iehp and that didnt work out so well, now im going through kaiser which requires 12 weeks options classes and so far i have completed the Orientation on 3/24/2011. so my ? is.....how long does it take to get into the dang classes? i know the whole ordeal will be well over 6 mos but the nurse told me classes are starting evey week and i have not received an acceptance letter yet, so of course im so damn impatient and im tired of waiting but i know it took me a hell of alot longer to put the weight on ...lol....so whats a few more months i guess. but if anyone in So cal who has kaiser knows the wait period for the options classes please do respond and let me know. I will keep you all posted every step of the way, also the surgey i am hoping to get is the (VSG).

7/22/2010- Wow sorry i been M.I.A lately. I've been moving and my mother went into cardiac arrest again but shes ok now thank god!! and recently i got a new doctor through IEHP and a new appt date on 9/9/2010. My hope is that this doctor will see that I am in desperate need of Lap band surgery and will give me an approval, now this is the first time in my life that I'm going to request the surgery so hopefully it works out. Speaking of working out , I  have been working out 5 days a week, 1 hr walking and 45 min cardio  plus 3 days strength training. I also cut back on calorie intake , I lost about 13 lbs in 2 months. not bad but not good ..lol   I will try to update you guys soon:)  oh yeah! just wanna say hayyyy to all my new buddiez:)
