Finally after almost 4 1/2 yrs. I am having a revision from the Lapband to the RNY after gaining back the original 30 lbs. that I lost.  I am very excited to have the surgery and looking forward to being healthier and happier!!

Finally, I had .25 fill in my band!  I have some decent restriction finally.  Now I am up to 3.25 cc in my 4 cc band.  I feel good.  This week I lost 4 lbs.  I am so happy...........I think we have hit that "Sweetspot".

I haven't had a fill since last June.  I need one desperately.  This Monday, January 21/08 I am going to get that long awaited fill.  My mother passed away Dec. 1st and it has been a long 18 months with her illness.  I feel like I am ready now for that fill to get me back on track.

It has been a rough 18 months...........I am almost 14 months since I had the lapband procedure done.  My mom passed away the 1st of December due to complications of being diabetic and obesity.  The past 6 months I really haven't gained but I haven't lost either.

My New Year's resolution is to finally lose the other 22 lbs. to get to my goal weight!  Now I have more time to focus on myself.  I want to be healthier...I know I will grieve over the loss of my mother but I know in my heart she wants me to be healthy and happy.  She was my biggest fan of the lapband.  She knows it has improved my health a great deal!

So here is to a fresh New Year...................HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVERYBODY!!

Wow!  A whole year has passed!  Where did the time go?  I don't know.........honestly!  I am not at my goal yet...I still have about 20 lbs. to loose and I am trying to work on that goal.  I am hoping by the 1st of February I will be there!

I have had a very interesting year with my lapband.  I have about 3.0cc in my  4.0 cc band and my doc doesn't want me to have any more fills at this point.  So the rest of the weight I will have to really work at getting off.  I have had a stressful 6 months.  My mom has had both legs amputated because of her being diebetic.  She has had a rough go of it.  It scares me.........I don't want those things to happen to me.  I have had the shingles and I have had to slow down.  I guess long periods of stress can do this to you.

I am grateful for my band.  I have not yo-yo with my weight.  I would of for sure if I hadn't had the band so I am so pleased.

Today I had a fill .3cc, now I have a total of 3.0 cc in my 4 cc band!  I have 25 lbs. to get to my goal weight..................so I am hoping this was my last fill!  We knew the so called "sweet spot" was almost a reality!  I will return to the Doctor July 9th.

Wow!!  7months have passed and I am down 55 lbs.  I leave for beautiful Hawaii on June 5th with a little less weight!!  Can't wait......life has changed so much for me since I had the lapband!  I couldn't be healthier and happier!!  I have 20 lbs. to go until my goal.  I am hoping by Nov. 2....my one year anniversary I will be at goal!!

I can't believe I am almost 6 months post op!!  Awesome!!  I have lost around 47 lbs. and couldn't be feeling better or looking any better!  I would love to lose another 21 lbs. (mini-goal) then I will go from there!!  I do go back to the doctor on May 16th to see how I'm doing.
 

Today I had my 5th fill.  Doctor gave me .2cc so now I am up to 2.7 cc in my 4 cc band.  I feel good..........not experiencing any problems.....losing again....so I'm a happy camper!! 

Today I saw my doctor - he gave me a .5 cc fill.  I am up to 2.5 cc in my 4 cc band.  I was pleased with my fill today...........no problems!!  Onward to more weight loss!!  -Holly
