"Dr. Castro is the only Weight Loss Surgeon in DFW to me. He did a revision from a failed Lap-Band to Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy in August 2010. He has an awesome bedside manner and attitude that is very real. Out of the 3 surgeons I dealt with along journey Dr. Castro is the ONLY one I would recommend. He is a very experienced and gifted surgeon. He is originally from Mexico and has an accent that is very noticeable yet easily understood. Regardless I can't say enough good things about him.
While I'm EXTREMELY happy with Dr. Castro I did not have a great experience with his office staff to be completely honest. At the time of my surgery his wife was the Office Manager (Lyndora) and a bit hard to deal with. However, having Dr. Castro performing surgery is WORTH any problems or road blocks his office causes."
