Angel flying in**** My angel and Mississippi sibs need our support and prayers. Due to high rate of lawsuits the malapractice insurance for doctors is skyrocketing WLS is being put on hold. This is stalling the WLS journey for out sibs. When will the madness end for us. I wish we could form our own insurance company just to treat us and our needs. My heartaches for all of us who fight this battle to be healthy with insurers.

Hi, I had surgery with Dr. Rose on 11/25/02. I know you have an angel, but if you need someone to be there with you when you have your surgery, let me know. I live about 30 min from the hospital and I can be there for you. Debbie

Dear Linda - my deepest condolences for the loss of your sister - i too lost my dear sister who was only 37 last year so i know the pain you are going through. I will say a prayer for you. I too decided to have WLS because i wanted to live a healthy life and not die before my time like her. Mat God bless you kind regards

Linda, I am very sorry for your loss. I want to tell you a little story. My brother is a police officer and was called to the scene of a man found dead in his apartment. The man was 40 years old and over 400 pounds. It took eight men to get him down to the wagon. He died from problems due to his weight. On my 34th birthday (12/21), 15 days post-op, my brother came by and gave me a big hug. He told me how happy he was that I wouldn't have to go that way, that soon. I wish your sister could be there to hug you after you start your journey to better health. Know that she is sending her support as we all are. Best of luck!
