Let's see my story. Let me tell you a bit about myself, I live in California in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have lived here a good majority of my life. I haved moved away a few times, but always came back home. My story with weight gain/loss had always been in my life. I am the youngest in a family of 6 and the only girl. So I ate just like my older brothers and as much as they did. I was very much active until I reached highschool, this is when the weight began. Slowly I was just a little chubby. Then I had a stroke when I was 27 years old. This is when alot of the weight gain happened. I had to relearn how to walk, eat, everything. I was left having my body temporarily paralyzed on my left side. Since I had a stroke, it became very difficult for me to lose weight. My body is left feeling very tired after a shopping trip to the grocery store. And working full-time and going to school part-time did not help at all. I had to switch majors and learn a whole new career that better suited my condition. I am now on this new journey to re-claim my body and I am scared of what the future has in store for me. Will I be able to succeed? I can barely drink that awful protein supplement!
