My husband doesn't want to kiss me!  He says my mouth smells like poop.  After much research on why it smells,  I brush my teeth and floss everyday and evenings.  I have found that it is due to ketosis.  I am now burning up fat in my body, and this makes my mouth smell shit.  Gross!  Been losing weight like crazy, just not seeing it on my tummy area.  losing it everywhere else that I don't want to lose it (butt, breasts, ankles- i have chicken legs as it is!).

Today I woke up feeling a whole lot better.  I have been icing my tummy where I feel a sharp stabbing pain which is below one of incisions.  I think it has been helping because I don't feel that pain as much anymore.  I still need my family members to help me use the toilet.  I still cannont wipe myself, I have short arms and small hands, just the way I was blessed.  Did a whole lot more walking today, but came home exhausted.

Mind I tell you, before all this today in the previously days I was still not able to shower.  So I was living in my own funk for 9 days.  Did not want to do anything due to all the pain I was feeling.

People talk on the forum message boards that all the pain is from gas.  But I was farting and burping and still continued to have this sharp intense pain.  I believe it was my organs healing themselves.  Who knows anyways, I feel better today!!!!!!!

It's the night before my surgery at Stanford.  The hubby is driving me crazy.  Can't wait to go tomorrow!  No more cheating.

He weighed me today and found out I gained 2 lbs and heard hell from his mouth.  What a pteradactyl!!!  NO one's perfect.  This small setback has got me bummed.

Hello all,

today was terrible!  I am trying new ways to drink this protein supplement.  Today I just mixed it with some grape flavored crystal light.  I take some in and not feeling to bad.  Someone else in the room is talking to me, and thoughts stray on drinking this concoction.  I take another drink and enhale the smell and the drink made me feel green.  I feel it coming back up my throat, and once it reaches my mouth, I swallow it back down my esophagus.  Now let me tell you, this stuff does not taste great going back down twice!  I just dreaded drinking the rest of 1/2 cup of this nasty stuff.  
Another rookie mistake I have made back earlier in the week is to reheat this stuff in my chicken broth.  It had curdled up and made me so disgusted that I just wanted to quit--right there and then.  After some sensible talking from friends  I chose to stay with it.
So now I am at the end of my day wondering about tomorrow; will it be an easy day?
